my parked car was hit and totaled, my best friend came to visit, i moved, and i went to indiana to visit the fam; not to forget 4th of july and a bridal shower thrown in there too! whew, see, that was a busy month! luckily, things worked out with the car situation, i had an amazing time with whitney in town, i found an awesome new house, and my trip home was refreshing as always! summer is slow on the acting front because several productions are on hiatus. i did attend a couple casting director workshops which were great! i made some good connections, and got to put up some good work, so i hope something comes from them eventually!
as for the new place, we majorly lucked out and found a house on the same street. we're just about 2 blocks away from our old place! the new place was available right away, and we felt like it was such a good deal, we couldn't pass it up. so, we rented it starting at the beginning of july, which was a bit of a bind on the ole pocketbook, however, it's been amazing, because we've been able to move our stuff in gradually, instead of cramming it all into one weekend. our new residence is a two unit apartment in the backyard of a house, which is similar to our first place, being that it's not this huge complex, which i really like.
